Support Raising Update
To everyone that has
supported me over the past year, I just wanted to once again say thank you! I
also want to let you know where I am with finances.
With the pledges that
have been made, you, my supporters have raised enough to cover the $8,950 that
I owe to AIM for this trip. But enough money has not been raised for me to be
reimbursed for the things that I (or my parents) paid for out of pocket before
the trip started. Things like the flights to Atlanta for training camp and to
Harlingen or to pay for the vaccines and anti-malaria medication I’ve been
taking. All of those costs equaled
around $1400.
I’ll be home in 47
days. Right now I don’t have a job lined up at all. As I understand it, they
are still quite difficult to come by at home and many people are still being
laid off. For at least the time being, when I return I plan to live with my
parents for a few months until I can find some kind of job. If you have any suggestions
